Clamber is an experimental sound designer, filmmaker and performer based in Portland, Oregon.
Clamber investigates the places and spaces where people are put on pause. Especially the loneliness, isolation and anomie of modern structures, and the non-places, the in-between spaces where people are without relation, identity or history.
Clamber’s medium involves field recording, video work, and sound collage, often consisting of stretching or collapsing time around mundane, isolated moments through slow motion or timelapse photography. Clamber also runs a monthly experimental music and film series at Boathouse Experimental Studios.
