Track created entirely with sounds recorded on a sound recording field trip through NW and SW Oregon and Washington, interspersed with video about time and space compression, humans on pause, and the collapse of memory in Portland, Oregon.
Recording locations: Ape Caves in Oregon, casino, Sou'wester in Washington, and home objects in Portland.
Samples: water, steam, sauna, organ, ocean, casino machine sounds and wire brush on multiple objects in a trailer.
Samples recorded on a stereo linear array mic (Clamber), and Zoom mics (Dasha S. and Tiana G.) and post-processed with filters in Ableton.
Video footage: 2016-2018 travels from airports, trains, and building deconstruction in Portland by Clamber. Tiana G. plays the tuning forks at a church in Portland.
